Sarah Beeny is high-profile late booking for Propertymark One

Property makeover queen and former estate agency owner Sarah Beeny is a late booking for Propertymark One on Friday.

Beeny has in recent years been one of the most high-profile property names thanks to her many TV shows – mostly on Channel 4 – over the years. She was also the founder of online agency Tepilo, which ran for nearly a decade before being swallowed up in Emoov’s demise.

Now Beeny is standing in as a keynote speaker at the Propertymark event at the ExCeL London, taking the place of Katie Piper who has had to step back for medical reasons.

Beeny is a passionate supporter of many charities, especially concerning cancer, having undergone treatment for breast cancer in 2022.

Propertymark says her journey in life “will inspire and motivate in equal measure, and it will also bring a fascinating insight into how to innovate and succeed in a fiercely competitive environment.”

Jason Lee, head of commercial at Propertymark, comments: “I would like to wish Katie a very speedy recovery and also thank her for her dedication on the lead up to Propertymark One. Although we are sad Katie won’t be able to attend this year, we are pleased Sarah has taken the baton and will be flying the flag by bringing an unmissable keynote.

“Sarah’s journey is one of resilience, ambition, creativity and compassion and I am personally extremely excited to see her take to the stage”.
