Young assumes responsibility for 14-branches across the company’s southern and south eastern regions and joins the company’s senior leadership team as a member of the residential lettings board.

The company says he brings “extensive expertise and an admirable track record of sustained success” to Hamptons, having spent 17 years at London lettings firm Marsh & Parsons: for six years there was held the top job of lettings director.

“Drawing on a 20 year tenure immersed in the complexities of the London property market, I found myself ready for a new professional challenge and had a desire to be part of a business which operates on a national scale” he says.

“As regional director of the south and south east my geographical remit is expansive. Each branch operates within its own idiosyncratic market and it’s this diversity that presents a dynamic and invigorating opportunity.:

And Catherine Westerling, head of lettings for the agency, adds: “[Graeme’s] reputation as an exceptional leader of people and skilled driver of performance preceded him and has proved to be entirely justified. His passion for our industry, drive to surpass customer expectations and immense dedication to creating and nurturing high performing teams align perfectly with our culture and values.

“ … Collaborating closely with the six other regional directors, Graeme will play a pivotal role in delivering the lettings division’s medium term strategic plans and will be fully supported to enlarge and expand his regional operations over the months and years ahead.”
