The property consultancy Bidwells has appointed a digital transformation expert to a new role to help the firm prepare for the world of Artificial Intelligence.

David Stringer is to be Bidwells’ new Head of Transformation & Business Optimisation: he comes with over 25 years of experience in digital transformation and product development, most recently at global business consultancy PwC.

Bidwells says that in his new role, Stringer will focus on driving digital innovation and organisational efficiency across the company’s operations. It says: “This will not only enhance the firm’s service offerings and internal processes, but propel it forward, cementing the firm’s position as an innovative market leader within the property sector.”

The company says a key part of this work will include the increased use of Artificial Intelligence and Data “to improve client experience and digital journeys.”

He says: “This is a pivotal moment in the property industry’s digital evolution, I’m excited to lead Bidwells’ charge into new opportunities for innovation and efficiency through digital transformation. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and agile methodologies, we’ll not only enhance our internal operations but also deliver even greater value to clients. This is a time of unprecedented change, and I’m passionate about positioning Bidwells at the forefront of this digital revolution.”

And the chief operating officer at Bidwells  Kelly Bream – adds: “David’s extensive experience in digital transformation and his proven track record in bringing innovative products to market make him an invaluable addition to our team. His appointment underscores our commitment to embracing technological advancements, particularly the use of AI, and optimising our business processes. 

“We’re confident that David’s leadership will drive significant improvements across our operations, ultimately benefiting our clients and reinforcing our position as a forward-thinking property consultancy.”

Over 80% of Bidwells’ work is concentrated in the so-called ‘Golden Triangle’ of Oxford, Cambridge and London. It says it “helps investors, developers, occupiers, house builders and homeowners to harness the benefits of the exceptional growth in these markets.”
