Leaders Romans Group snaps up fourth agency in 2024

Leaders Romans Group has snapped up Norfolk rental operation Dragonfly Lettings, as part of what LRG describes as “a significant step” to enhance its presence in the region. 

Dragonfly Lettings has been open since 2017, when Glen Hammond merged the lettings portfolios of HammondLee and Stratfords of Eaton. 

Matthew Light, group mergers and acquisitions director at LRG, comments: “After the significant acquisitions of Stirling Ackroyd, Alexander & Co, and Peter Ball earlier this year, which led to a brief pause, we are now firmly back on the acquisition trail. The acquisition of Dragonfly Lettings is the first of a series of acquisitions over the coming weeks and months. This move increases our already strong lettings presence and market share in the Norwich area.”

The acquisition will see Dragonfly Lettings absorbed into Leaders’ Cringleford and Norwich offices. All existing staff will transition to LRG, ensuring continuity of service for clients. With the current director exiting the business upon completion of the acquisition.

Glen Hammond – managing director of Dragonfly Lettings – says: “The decision to join Leaders Romans Group was made with the confidence that our clients and team will benefit from the extensive resources and support that LRG offers.”

A statement from LRG says the acquisition is part of its “ongoing strategy to grow its lettings portfolio and strengthen its market position across the UK.”
