PropTech management platform Lavanda is to be used to manage the vast 68,000-bed portfolio of Unite Students, the UK’s largest purpose built student accommodation provider.

Unite will use Lavanda’s property management system to handle financial, administrative and logistical workstreams throughout 151 properties located in 23 university towns and cities.

Tom Ellis, group strategy and technology director for Unite Students, says: “Bringing in Lavanda is going to transform how we serve our residents. Not only will it make living with us easier and more enjoyable for our residents, but it will also significantly simplify our day-to-day operations. Lavanda’s leading technology will help us deliver a best-in-class student experience and reflects our dedication to raising the bar for student accommodation.”

And Fred Lerche-Lerchenborg of Lavanda adds: “Partnering with Unite Students is one of Lavanda’s most significant milestones to date … This collaboration highlights our dedication to innovation and excellence in the student accommodation sector. Our platform’s flexibility, advanced feature set, and seamless integration capabilities will empower Unite Students to operate more efficiently and effectively.”
