Property professionals gearing up for the 2024 Variety North West Property Awards can look forward to a star-studded evening as TV presenter and property expert Martin Roberts takes the helm as host.

Known for his work on BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer, Roberts will bring his industry expertise and charisma to the awards ceremony.

The event will take place on October 10 at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel Deansgate, celebrating the sector’s most outstanding achievements and innovations. The awards also play a pivotal role in raising vital funds for disabled and disadvantaged children across the North West Region.

Lyn Staunton, Variety Development Director, says: “Martin has been such an important figure in the British property sector for more than 20 years, we’re beyond proud and excited to welcome him as this year’s host for the North West property awards.

“Martin will create an unforgettable experience for our guests, ensuring they are thoroughly entertained. His deep understanding of how crucial fundraising is to the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children makes his involvement truly impactful. The generosity of those who donate on the night really do change the lives of many children.”

The event has garnered substantial backing from industry heavyweights, with Kingmoor Park Properties and Together leading as headline sponsors.

Additional support comes from prominent firms such as Howden Specialty, Legacie, MCR Property Group, Shenton Group, RMG, DTRE and Renaker, who each play pivotal roles in shaping the property landscape of the North West.

Brian Scowcroft, Chairman of Kingmoor Park Properties, adds: “We are proud to be involved with the awards again this year. This event showcases the fantastic work being done by Variety to help disadvantaged children in the region, whilst also celebrating the depth of talent that is held within the property industry in the North West.”
