Applications open for agency charity to combat homelessness

Todays other news

The Fine & Country Foundation is officially opening its autumn grant programme tomorrow.

It offers charities in the UK and overseas funding to aid projects in the fight against homelessness and poverty.

Through the programme, Fine & Country locations worldwide are encouraged to nominate a charity for a donation of up to £3,000.

In the last round, this spring, 27 charitable projects were allocated funding totalling £41,147.

“The only way that The Foundation has been able to support organisations that are working to make their communities better for those in need, is by the generosity of those in the Fine & Country network, as well as their supporters” says trustee Jon Cooke.

“The more money that is raised through the numerous events and challenges our network engage in, the more charitable projects The Foundation can support. It is only through the network’s efforts that we are able to do the work we do as an organisation.”

The foundation has raised over £1m to date.

To apply, Fine & Country agents nominate their chosen charity to receive a grant; the foundation will be accepting applications until October 31.
