Lettings agents invited to cuddle a puppy

Todays other news

Forget key speakers or snazzy roll banners, The Propertymark Trust has launched a new addition to its upcoming PropX fundraising event: puppy cuddling!

Taking place on 20 September 2024 at Millennium Point, Birmingham, PropX is a property conference packed with inspiring, impactful talks, and now—adorable, stress-busting therapy puppies.

In keeping with The Propertymark Trust’s commitment to promoting positive mental health practices, the charity has partnered with Paws and Breathe UK to offer PropX delegates the unique opportunity to unwind and recharge by spending time with therapy puppies.

Lauren Scott-Simpson, chair of The Propertymark Trust, said: “We’re delighted to bring puppy cuddling to PropX this year. It’s an exciting addition to an already fantastic day and highlights our commitment to putting smiles on the faces of property professionals.

“At The Propertymark Trust, we understand the importance of mental well-being, and what better way to boost your mood and relieve stress than by spending time with some adorable puppies?”

The puppy cuddling will take place in a secure space next to the main auditorium, so that those with allergies can still fully enjoy the event without concern.

The PropX event will feature more than a dozen speakers from across the property industry, each delivering 20-minute talks on a diverse range of topics, including business strategies, marketing, mindfulness, mental health, and social media.

Among the lineup is the recently added Daniel Daggers, star of the Netflix series Buying London.
