Upbeat Propertymark says latest conference ‘set a new standard’

The Propertymark Trust has celebrated a triumph with its first-ever PropX event.

The TED-style conference, featuring over a dozen of the property industry’s leading figures, included 20-minute talks and raised £40,000 to support the trust, a charity that aids property professionals in crisis and provides educational grants to those seeking industry qualifications.

The theme of the day was mental wellbeing, with several speakers sharing personal experiences. Talks also focused on business areas including marketing and the social media within the property sector. Among the highlights of the day was a riveting interview with Daniel Daggers, star of Netflix’s hit show Buying London

Lauren Scott-Simpson, chair of the trust, says: “I simply cannot thank everyone enough for what was a truly incredible day, especially delegates who helped raise what is a truly astonishing sum of money that will enable the Trust to continue to directly support people and projects that truly matter and make a positive difference.

“We are extremely humbled by those who contributed to the Trust on the day, but most importantly, extremely honoured to work with those who we directly support.”

The trust claims that it’s clear the event has not only raised vital funds but also set a new standard for property industry conferences.
