Letting agents are being invited to a council’s private rental sector forum to hear more about local service providers and council rules.

Bolsover council in Derbyshire in the East Midlands says its forum on November 21 will involve the launch of its new Private Sector Housing strategies, an introduction to e new ‘Call Before You Serve’ anti-eviction service, and a presentation by the non-profit East Midlands Property Owners body.

There will also be a presentation about the domestic Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard regulations, information on Derbyshire Law Centre, and representatives from the Department of Work and Pension, supporting tenants migrating to Universal Credit.
