A prominent former economics editor and chief political correspondent has joined the list of keynote speakers addressing the Propertymark One event next June.

Daisy McAndrew, former Economics Editor and Chief Political Correspondent, spoke at this year’s event and will make a return in 2025.

Now a freelance radio and TV presenter, she currently hosts multiple shows on TalkTV including The Talk and 1st Edition. She helped launch TalkTV in April 2022 by hosting her own prime time news and current affairs show. She is also a well-known face on American TV screens as NBC News’ Royal Commentator.

With mammoth legislative and economic changes continuing within the property market, McAndrew will be giving her predictions and insights into both the economic and political landscapes. She will answer attendees’ questions live on stage as well as her predictions and insights on the latest trends.

Another keynote speaker will be medical doctor Professor Steve Peters, who specialises in mental health and the functioning of the human mind. He has dedicated his working life to help people get the best out of themselves and to be in a good place.

He is also a best-selling author, including the bestselling self-help book of all time in the UK, The Chimp Paradox, which has sold over a million copies.

Jason Lee, Propertymark’s head of commercial, comments: “We have continued to hear of the positive feedback that our attendees had for Daisy at her previous Propertymark One Conference attendance last year and have invited her back in order to continue to provide the quality information agents need and deserve.

“Daisy holds the key to unlocking a lot of agents’ questions and those looking to attend in 2025 will not be disappointed with the agenda for next year. We continue to adapt and grow our offering year-on-year, and this will be a much-needed event to add to your calendar.

“We are delivering a high calibre line up and will continue to announce the diverse range of experts that we have secured on the run up to the eagerly awaited event.”
