The acquisition of a small lettings agency will see a three-branch franchise operation top 1,000 managed properties.

Belvoir lettings portfolio in Swansea will grow to more than 1,000 units as a result of taking on 50 properties managed by its latest acquisition, an agency called The Greenroom.

Ben Davies, managing director of Belvoir Swansea, says: “We are thrilled to welcome The Greenroom’s portfolio to Belvoir, strengthening our rental management presence, specifically across the vibrant areas of SA2 and SA3. This acquisition allows us to offer even more landlords access to our trusted, team of 20 experienced property agents.

“Having initially opened Belvoir Swansea as a lettings-only agency in 2010, it has been fantastic going back to our roots and bolstering our rental portfolio with several new, fantastic properties. We are exceptionally proud that The Greenroom has trusted us to continue the high level of management services they have offered clients for several years. We are very much looking forward to working with our new Landlords.”

And Nick Christofides, director of The Greenroom, adds: “I am delighted to handover the reigns of our managed properties portfolio to Belvoir. With nearly 15 years of experience managing properties of all sizes, they are known for providing the same high levels of service that have become our hallmark at The Greenroom.

“Although we will no longer have a lettings arm to our business, we will very much continue to operate as The Greenroom from our base in Mumbles, this allows us to focus on our core passion and expertise: selling beautiful Welsh homes, dedicating ourselves exclusively to property sales. We’re looking forward to seeing Belvoir grow from strength-to-strength and as a fellow, local business, we are always here to support the team and to celebrate any wins, big or small.”
