Another PropTech firm launches AI-powered product

Todays other news

Industry supplier Street.co.uk has launched an Artificial Intelligence product which it claims will make uploading compliance documents easier.

The new AI Document Reader scans through any uploaded safety certificates or contractor invoices, auto-filling information fields to eradicate the need for double entry. It also sends agents reminders for upcoming payments or follow-ups. There is also data from sister company, Spectre, as an integration into the CRM.

Agents using both Street.co.uk and Spectre will now have data surfaced directly into the pre-valuation page, allowing access to data on market activity, pricing history, and any previous agent involved with a specific property.

Specifics like the year built, listed status, and estimated sales and rental values are available to help inform valuations.

Street.co.uk’s product marketing manager, Emma Martin, comments: “The launch of our industry-first AI Document Reader is a brilliant example of how AI can transform day-to-day tasks—saving agents valuable time, simplifying document management, and ensuring compliance with ease.

“From expanded Spectre data to streamlined enquiry workflows, these innovations are all about boosting efficiency and are a clear reflection of our commitment to advancing PropTech in ways that truly empower agents to succeed.”

Last week Zoopla revealed it had added six new ‘smart tags’ to help users search for specific property features and hopefully drive more leads to agents, The portal is using artificial intelligence to extract features from listing images so users can filter from six new criteria or smart tags.

And last month Proptech firm iamproperty added new AI features to its Marketing Toolkit to help agents win more instructions.  New features using AI in early 2025 include letter writing using ChatGPT-style generative AI and a predictive market feature that will identify properties likely to hit the market within a certain timeframe.

The Marketing Toolkit is complementary for iamproperty’s network of more than 6,000 UK estate agency branches.
