The Association of Rental Living, a cheerleading organisation for Build To Rent, has named a slew of developer representatives and BTR figures as so-called ‘special advisers’ to the organisation.
The ARL describes itself as the membership body ‘for all institutionally backed, professionally managed purpose-built rental living sectors” and claims to play “a crucial role in amplifying and unifying the sectors’ voice [with a] vision to elevate rental living, pioneering good quality, professionally managed rental homes.”
The Special Advisors will be in post for a two-year renewable term and include representatives from Bidwells, Way of Life, Centrick, Fika Interiors, Rightmove-owned HomeViews, Dandara, Gensler, Rund, Global Apartment Advisors, Womble Bond Dickinson, Moda, Touchstone, ETG Consulting and DLA Piper.
Recruitment is underway for two additional roles in Technology and Education, Training and Careers.
An ARL spokesperson says: “We are thrilled to welcome such a strategically focused group of experts to the ARL, in the capacity of Special Advisors. As the ARL drives forward key issues impacting all rental living sector stakeholders, the knowledge, insights and support of our Special Advisors will be invaluable.”
