Todays other news

A date has been announced for the Build To Rent awards event this coming autumn.

It will be on October 24 and will feature categories for properties, services, teams, suppliers, consultants and investors.

The awards will feature what the organisers call “carefully curated categories designed to highlight the expertise and innovation that make this sector thrive.” These will include customer service excellence, sustainability to community development.

The British Property Federation’s assistant director Theo Plowman says: “The … awards are a vital platform for recognising the excellence and professionalism within this sector. As the demand for quality rental homes continues to grow, these awards play an important role in celebrating the industry’s commitment to delivering secure, high-quality housing and fostering thriving communities. We’re delighted to support this fantastic event once again.”

Brendan Geraghty, chief executive of the Association for Rental Living – another support organisation for BTR – adds: “The sector continues to push boundaries and redefine what renting means in the UK. These awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the exceptional work being done to deliver innovative homes and vibrant communities. The Association for Rental Living is proud to once again support an event that highlights the professionalism and dedication of everyone involved in this vital sector.”
