Dezrez, a PropTech firm, says it’s come up with an alternative for users of OnTheMarket’s defunct lettings software arm, formerly known as Teclet.
Back in October, OnTheMarket suddenly informed agents signed up to teclet that it was to cease operation.
This came as a surprise within both the agency and PropTech worlds as OnTheMarket Software had launched with a fanfare of publicity only two years previously. OnTheMarket’s Jason Tebb – then chief executive, now president – claimed OTM would be focusing on software in a bid to build itself as a technology-enabled property business, and not just the number three portal.
However under CoStar Group’s ownership, that strategy was changed and OnTheMarket software is closing in under 10 weeks time.
Dezrez claims to have recreated its core pre-tenancy compliance tools.
Richard Price, group managing director, says: “We see this moment not as a crisis but as an opportunity to help businesses with an upgraded solution that picks up where Teclet leaves off—and goes even further. Our enhanced features are designed to ensure a smooth transition, allowing you to continue managing your properties whilst minimising disruption.”
Dezrez claims its new product offers what it calls “treamlined compliance … an intuitive portal … effortless migration … and future-proof technology.”
A marketing spokesperson for the firm says: “Our team is here to help agents make the switch quickly and painlessly.”
