Savills has appointed Harry Burge to lead the lettings department at its Barnes office, part of the firm’s south west London parks region.

Burge began his property career in 2018 as a lettings negotiator at Countrywide, where he was promoted to senior lettings negotiator in 2021. He joined Savills in 2022 as an associate in the Richmond lettings team, quickly progressing to manager and most recently head of department.

During this time, he gained extensive experience handling rentals across all market levels.

As head of lettings in Barnes, he will lead a team managing properties across the lettings market, from garden flats to larger family homes.

His role will see him work closely with colleagues in Savills’ neighbouring Richmond and Putney offices together with Savills specialist departments including Corporate Services, the Private Office and Waterfront teams.

Burge himself says: “I am delighted to be stepping into the next chapter of my career as head of lettings in Barnes. After honing my expertise in the prime markets of Richmond, I am excited to bring my skills to a new part of South West London and contribute to driving the business forward.”

Of his appointment, head of the south west London parks region and west London lettings Rory Wallace, says: “We are delighted to see Harry advance in his career and take on the role of Head of Lettings in our successful Barnes office. His expertise in managing prime rental deals, paired with his skill in handling corporate relocations and short-term lets, has proven him to be a highly efficient and knowledgeable team player. I am confident he will continue to be a tremendous asset to our thriving lettings business.”
