What was described as ‘a large emergency service response’ attended an incident involving a Martin & Co branch in Surrey.

A car crashed into the Redhill branch – although reports on the Surrey Live news website suggest no one from the car or office sustained any injuries.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended and a police statement, quoted on Surrey Live, says: “We were called to High Street, Redhill, approximately 5:11pm [Friday January 31] after reports of a collision at the location. Officers responded and found that the driver of the car had collided with the front of Martin & Co.

“Colleagues from Surrey Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance also attended. The driver didn’t require medical treatment.”
