A PropTech product refinement claims to be able to respond to new leads in literally a few seconds.

The next generation ValPal Pro can trawl though an entire agency database before using AI-calls and AI-texts to contact and nurture client leads and prioritise motivated landlords and sellers.

As soon as a request for an online lettings valuation is received, ValPal Pro will call the client, explain that it is a virtual assistant and ask what prompted the person to use the tool.

The AI can thereafter provisionally book a valuation, later to be confirmed by the agent when he receives a summary of the transcript of the call.  If the initial call is unsuccessful, ValPal Pro will send an AI-SMS and continue conducting a similar process through texting.

As soon as ValPal Pro gets a positive response via voice or text, it goes into discovery mode and will find the maximum information about the property and seller or landlord.

If there is no response, the lead automatically drops into a 12-month ‘nurture funnel’; if the prospect does respond during that 12 month period, the whole process starts again.

ValPal Pro also includes an inbound Portal responder for buyer and tenant applicants.

On the lettings side, ValPal Pro automatically filters tenant applications via a qualification questionnaire. It will ask tenants – if they are letting already – to give their landlord details. It will also ask about broadband and utilities to generate further enquiries and possible revenue opportunity for agents.

“We have always known that the biggest challenge agents have, is getting to leads quickly enough. This isn’t because they are lazy – it’s the nature of the industry” explains Craig Vile, Director of The ValPal Network.

“Research tells us agents have just 60 seconds to respond to a lead in order to get optimum results. But when the lead comes in, agents are often out of the office doing valuations, viewings or a thousand other customer-related tasks.

“And as far as database mining is concerned, it’s such a monumental task to take on that agents simply haven’t got the time to get around to it. We believe ValPal Pro solves these problems.”

For buyer applicants, the Portal responder will identify if a buyer needs to sell before they can purchase a property, therefore generating a sales opportunity. It will also establish whether they are a cash buyer, or whether they require a mortgage – again, generating mortgage leads as well as conveyancing leads, too.

Vile concludes: “We are at a point now where AI is about to transform the way the industry does business. Game-changer is an over-used term these days, but agents ignore this at their peril – we are entering a new era.”

ValPal is a product of Angels Media, publisher of Letting Agent Today and other property industry titles.
