Your Move Chris Stonock, an existing Your Move franchisee with 13 branches in the north east, has acquired an independent to take his tally up to 14.

Based in Ryton, Hymers and Ryle Residential has 170 managed letting properties with a business built and run by Julie Ryle and Kerry Hymers – the latter is joining Your Move Chris Stonock as lettings manager.

Hymers says: “This acquisition means our clients will benefit from the resources of a larger group, while still receiving the same personal service as I continue on as the main point of contact with support from Your Move’s Property Management Centre.”

Managing director Tim Stonock comments: “Julie and Kerry have built a business known for its outstanding service, and we’re delighted to be entrusted with maintaining this reputation as we welcome a significant number of managed units into Your Move, further strengthening our lettings division.

“Our priority is delivering consistency – maintaining the same high standards to ensure landlords and tenants continue to receive excellent service under Kerry’s guidance. This acquisition marks a key milestone in our growth strategy through the North East, as we look to both organic expansion and acquiring high-quality letting portfolios like Hymers and Ryle Residential.”
