Agents offered solution to Rentman software issues

Rentman developer Nigel Gomm is appealing to agents hit by the recent software distribution controversy to remain loyal to the business.

Rentman Software Ltd, which was the UK distributor for Rentman, has split from Gomm after 30 years in an acrimonious dispute over the business. Hundreds of agents are reported to have been affected by a software switch after a dispute between distributors and the developer of the Rentman package. Many complain that business has been disrupted.

Gomm is not allowed to contact users directly but says: ”I can get them back into their Rentman within an hour of them giving me GDPR permission. I’ve got about 700 users up and running already.”

Rival services Street.co.uk and Alto say they have picked up business already from agents who can no longer use Rentman.
