Cloud software industry supplier Alto says it’s enjoyed its best Q1 on record, with March delivering its best month for new business since November 2022.

The first quarter of 2025 closed with record-breaking new business revenue, a 45% jump year-on-year, eclipsing all previous Q1 figures.

It says over 10 agencies have switched to Alto as a result of the Rentman controversy.

Rentman Software Ltd, which was the UK distributor for Rentman, has split from developer Nigel Gomm after 30 years in an acrimonious dispute over the business.

Hundreds of agents are reported to have been affected by a software switch after a dispute between distributors and the developer of the Rentman package. Many complain that business has been disrupted.

“We’ve quietly been raising our game – and now the results speak for themselves. In the past three years, we’ve successfully migrated over 1,600 agencies – more than all our competitors combined – and we can have them fully live in just four weeks. And we don’t charge a penny for it, unlike others” explains Nick Shaw, chief revenue officer ay Alto.

“We’ve had over 10 Rentman switchers join us in just the last two weeks, and that’s no coincidence. Agents are choosing Alto because we’re stable, proven, and delivering results. And, we’re only just getting started.”
