Letting agents hit by new sanctions rules - free webinar

There’s a free webinar later this week about new anti-money laundering sanctions being introduced by the Office of Financial Sanction Implementation in May.

The new sanctions will place stricter obligations on letting agents who must ensure that neither tenants, nor landlords are listed on government sanctions lists.

The FCS Compliance hour-long webinar will take place from 10am on Thursday April 10.

The webinar will cover:

  • How letting agents should prepare for the new sanctions, including the checks involved and reporting requirements;
  • Which agents must now report to OFSI;
  • Upcoming changes to Companies House;
  • A fines update from HMRC;
  • The latest HMRC standards and how to stay compliant.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to put any questions direct to AML experts.
