An agency set up by a retired professional rugby player has opened a new branch in London’s trendy Notting Hill.

Founded in 2018, House Collective is a boutique agency set up by Jonathan Brandling Harris who previously enjoyed a successful career as a professional rugby player, competing for teams in the UK, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand.

With co-founder Richard Bryce, the agency’s first office was opened in London’s Primrose Hill – another fashionable part of the capital.

Brandling-Harris says: “Notting Hill is an area we’ve quietly worked in for years. The character of the neighbourhood, the architecture, and the people here resonate so strongly with our values as an agency.

“Opening a physical space felt like a very natural evolution, allowing us to better serve the clients we already work with and deepen our connection with the local community. We’re not here to blend in — we’re here to bring something fresh, thoughtful and design-driven to the market.”

Publicity for the new branch describes the agency as “award-winning, ethical, and conscientious professionals … offering a highly personalised, design-led service to clients seeking to sell or let distinctive homes across Notting Hill, Primrose Hill, Camden and beyond.”

The publicity goes on to claim that House Collective is “rooted in London’s creative culture” and “approaches every home with an editorial eye — combining striking photography with a strong sense of narrative to showcase not just the property, but the lifestyle it offers.”

The new branch is led by existing prime London operators Will Vaughan and Benjamin Ross.
