Connells Group has announced that it has “a renewed appetite for expansion” and to prove the point has acquired two property businesses.

Campbell & Dean is a successful independent letting agency in Falkirk, while The Property Store is a well-established sales and lettings branch in East Kilbride.

Both businesses will rebrand into Connells Group’s leading Scottish brand, Slater Hogg & Howison, which already operates in Falkirk and East Kilbride, with new and existing staff joining forces.

Campbell & Dean and The Property Store collectively add almost 900 properties to Connells Group’s lettings portfolio.

“These are both fantastic, trusted agencies with strong lettings portfolios and brilliant staff. We’re thrilled to welcome our new colleagues from both Campbell & Dean and The Property Store to our Group and thank their previous owners for trusting us to build on their success as they move on to new ventures,” says Chris Rosindale, Connells Group’s Chief Operations Officer. “This is part of an exciting new chapter for Connells Group where investment and growth play a key role in our future plans, and we’re committed to further growing our sales and lettings footprint with quality agencies in England, Scotland and Wales.”

Having completed four acquisitions in Q1 this year, Connells Group says it “continues to seek suitable acquisition opportunities and is keen to hear from business owners looking to sell or grow as part of the UK’s most successful property group.”
