Lomond has snapped up another independent agency – its second such acquisition in a week.

It has acquired Draker, a central London lettings agency operating from three offices and managing a portfolio of over 700 rental properties.

Established 15 years ago by high profile agent Tim Hassell, Draker is described as having “earned a reputation for its client-first approach built on the foundational values of integrity and trust.”

It specialises in some of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods including the Kensington and Chelsea, and Hammersmith and Fulham.

In recent days Lomond announced its acquisition of Battersea waterside specialist Vantage, a boutique agency which services the international landlord audience.

Over the past year Lomond has also taken over London boutique agency Hamnett & Ganpot, and the larger and more mainstream 60-branch Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, also in London.

Draker founder and managing director Tim Hassell says: “Building Draker over the past 15 years has been a deeply rewarding journey. Our growth has been driven by a laser focus on specialisation, discipline and above all, client satisfaction. As I look ahead to a new chapter in Sweden, I am confident that our clients and team are in exceptional hands with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward- an organisation that shares our values and commitment to excellence.”

And John Ennis, chief revenue officer at Lomond, adds: “Draker is a brand synonymous with quality and professionalism in the London lettings market. We’re excited to support its continued growth with the broader capabilities and reach of the Lomond network, as we further cement our presence in central London.”

The deal was brokered by Adam J Walker and Associates, and commenting on the sale Adam Walker says: “ I was very pleased to have been involved with brokering the sale of a business of the size and quality of Draker Ltd. It is another important strategic acquisition for Lomond Group as it will increase their market share significantly in this key area of West London.“
