Rightmove says it’s going a launch a Renters Rights training course on the Rightmove Hub service shortly.

The Renters Rights Bill resumes its passage through Parliament next week and is expected to become law within weeks.

Rightmove claims that seven in 10 estate and letting agency branches are now making use of the Hub, which it describes as a “training and insights platform”.

This is up from 56% of branches back in 2023.

The Hub, first launched a decade ago and recently revamped, has expanded in response to requests from agents for help with training and inelligence about law and regulation changes.

The platform now offers what it calls “expert insights” on legislative changes, property markets, an Ofqual regulated and approved by Propertymark CELA qualification (Certificate for Estate and Lettings Agents), and CPD approved training courses on mandatory topics including AML and GDPR.

Trainers include Adrian McClinton of Knights Plc, Susie Crolla of the Guild of Letting & Management and CELA board member, David Smith.

A Rightmove spokesperson says: “Reaching 70% adoption of the Rightmove Hub is a testament to our commitment to supporting agents at every level. The Hub’s comprehensive resources and expert-led training are designed to empower agents with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in a dynamic market.

“We’re thrilled to see such strong engagement and will continue to evolve the platform to meet the industry’s growing needs.”
