Savills has expanded its super prime lettings business beyond the capital with the formation of a team covering the upper end of the rental market across the country.
In addition, the firm has appointed Stevie Walmesley – one of the capital’s best known super prime lettings agents – to lead its north London super prime lettings offering.
Savills claims the growth of the department reflects an increasing demand for top-end rental properties in the commuter belt, the Cotswolds and further north with the team attributing changing lifestyle priorities, relocation for work purposes, requirements for pied-à-terres and weekend homes as prompting the rise in high-net worth tenants seeking properties to let.
Headed by Isabella Birch Reynardson, agents within the team are among the most experienced in their respective regions with a track record for handling some of the UK’s most notable and highest value rental transactions.
With super prime rentals typically making up the top 5% of homes – many of which transact off-market – the coming together of Savills market-leading experts as one team will, the company says, offer clients an enhanced, niche service, leveraging their specialist knowledge to provide best in class advice to landlords and tenants.
“Whether clients are searching for a family home in Notting Hill, a country house in the Cotswolds, or renting out their mansion in the Home Counties, individuals within the team match tenants with some of the UK’s finest homes. The expansion will also see the department working closely with members of Savills Private Office, as well as the firm’s Sports Media & Entertainment team who provide tailored services across the full real estate spectrum to clients working in these sectors, including those seeking rental properties close to training grounds or filming locations” says the company’s statement.
Isabella Birch Reynardson, head of super prime lettings at Savills, says: “The profile and needs of our clients continues to evolve and it is essential that we are able to service them through one specialist department. As well as drawing in multi-discipline expertise from the wider UK business where required, the global nature of our clients means that we are also in regular contact with teams around the world, from Monaco and the Riviera through to the US and Asia. Through our expanded team, we are now a full-scale operation able to guide our clients through the entire letting journey wherever and whatever their rental requirements in the UK might be, delivering a bespoke and discrete service every time.”
Amelia Greene, head of UK lettings at Savills, adds:“Our super prime lettings department continues to go from strength to strength and this expansion marks an exciting next chapter for our residential lettings business at Savills. Stevie is an important hire for us and her excellent track record and market credentials will benefit both our clients and the wider team. We look forward to being able to advise high and ultra high net worth clients in all key areas, supported by experts whose local knowledge can help achieve our clients’ goals.”
