Staffordshire agency Webbs Estate & Letting Agent, based in Cannock, has snapped up local rival C residential, based in Rugeley.

A statement says the merger “brings together two of the area’s most respected estate agencies, both proud Members of The Guild of Property Professionals, creating a powerful alliance poised to redefine property services across the Cannock Chase district. United by a shared commitment to excellence and community-focused service, the new partnership promises a seamless blend of experience, innovation, and local expertise.”

Nick and Simon Lamb, directors at Webbs, say: “The timing is ideal for us to welcome the exceptional team at C residential into the Webbs family. As the property landscape evolves, our priority is to remain at the forefront, offering clients the highest standard of support throughout their property journey. This merger enhances our ability to do just that. It was an obvious choice. The marriage of the two companies is one that the entire Webbs and C residential family are genuinely excited about. This move not only opens up new opportunities but also strengthens our ability to deliver an even greater level of customer experience for our clients.”

And Angi Cooney, director and founder of C residential, adds: “Following a milestone birthday earlier this year, I began to explore fresh opportunities while thinking carefully about the future of the business I’ve poured my heart into. I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved, and I wanted C residential’s legacy to continue with a company that shares our dedication to personal service. The Rugeley team remains in place, and they’re energised by what lies ahead.”
