Connells Group continues its strategic expansion with the acquisition of Aspire Estate Agents a well-respected five branch estate and lettings agency in south-west London.

Aspire has 750 lettings properties under management and a sales business covering Battersea, Balham, Fulham South, Fulham Central, and Clapham.

The agency will retain its own brand as it joins John D Wood & Co.

Connells’ chief operating officer – Chris Rosindale – says: “This acquisition is an important step in strengthening our presence across London. Aspire’s strong local reputation and network complement John D Wood & Co.’s existing operations and enhance our ability to serve clients in the capital. It’s our sixth acquisition this year, reflecting our ongoing commitment to growth and investment in high-quality businesses.”

Matthew Dabell, founder of Aspire, comments: “Over the past 20 years, we’ve worked hard to become one of the leading estate agencies in Southwest London – known not just for our results, but for the relationships we’ve built and the personal service we deliver. That local focus and commitment won’t change. What makes this next chapter so exciting is the opportunity to retain everything our clients know and value about Aspire, while benefiting from the wider reach and support of John D Wood & Co.”

A statement from Connells Group says it continues to seek suitable acquisition opportunities and is keen to hear from business owners looking to sell or grow as part of the UK’s most successful property services group.
