Brand new agency wins instruction for 200 properties from single landlord

Dwello, an agency that launched in May, has secured a new 200-property portfolio under management.

The agency was founded by experienced landlord, Stephen McKechnie: it employs 15 staff in its Glasgow office and is geared up to manage property portfolios for landlords.

The portfolio o which it has been instructed, owned by food supplier business owner Stuart Dalziel, includes properties across the central belt of Scotland, concentrated in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Dwello will perform a full portfolio asset management service for this instruction including bespoke client and bank reporting and providing advice on market rents, refurbishment and growth strategy, in addition to its standard letting agent service.

Stephen McKechnie, founder of Dwello, says: “Stuart is one of Scotland’s biggest landlords and for him to trust Dwello with his portfolio is a real vote of confidence in our business. As a landlord, I fully understand Stuart’s requirements for a first-class letting agency service Stuart knows that our promise is to look after his portfolio as if it were our own.

“When we set up Dwello we laid out ambitious growth targets, and this deal demonstrates that those goals are certainly achievable.”
