Lettings growth helps Spicerhaart to improved annual results

Spicerhaart says it’s had a “successful year of growth and innovation.”

Group turnover rose 8% from £126.0m to £136.1m for the year ended December 2024 – the figures have only just been released.

There was also an 8.3% increase in year-end headcount and the group says it’s delivered a £4.6m growth in profits.

In a statement issued last evening the group says the financial growth is down to “enhanced productivity throughout the year.”

The statement continues: “The company remains debt free and in a robust financial position, with net assets of £21.0m, while cash reserves increased to £22.8m, to help fund its continued growth in key strategic areas of the business, including acquisitions.”

Estate agency turnover increased 5% while residential lettings saw an 8% uplift. Financial Services delivered a 10% increase in combined turnover.

Corporate Sales turnover rose by 14%, supported by B2B relationships in repossessions and part exchanges.

Surveying income grew by 17%.

Chairman Paul Smith says: “2024 was a year of progress, investment and growth. Our teams have delivered exceptional results across the board, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. 

“With an incredibly strong pipeline and improving market conditions, backed by a multi-million pound increase in marketing expenditure, we’re well positioned to acquire more businesses and accelerate growth in 2025 and beyond.”
