Lomond – which uses private equity cash to fund its extensive acquisition programme – says it’s given £110,000 to a homelessness charity over two years.
It has backed Centrepoint’s flagship event Sleep Out, walks, spin-a-thons and sports days, and has held a raffle at an annual awards ceremony.
A Centrepoint spokesperson says: “Reaching £110,000 is a huge milestone, and the whole team should be incredibly proud. This money will help Centrepoint continue making a real difference to the lives of young people we support and bring us one step closer to ending youth homelessness for good.”
And Ed Phillips, group chief executive of Lomond, adds: “Two years into our partnership with Centrepoint, I’m incredibly proud of the commitment and drive our teams have shown. Raising over £110,000 is a fantastic milestone – but more importantly, it represents thousands of nights of safe accommodation, counselling and support for young people facing homelessness.”
