An initiative by the Propertymark Trust has seen a huge number of applications for scholarship bursaries – with a second intake this autumn.

Applications for this second 2025 scholarship intake have closed: all applicants have been interviewed and told if they have been successful.

A strictly limited number of scholarships for 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of the costs of learning materials, Propertymark membership and examination fees were made available.

Potential scholars invited to apply for funding by completing a straightforward application form which included a requirement to state why they want to obtain the Level 3 qualification in either sales, lettings or property management.

Trust representative Michael Day comments:  “This second intake to our fantastic initiative has been extremely well received and oversubscribed. It will now provide a number of individuals with a route into qualifications that, in turn, will help underpin their future careers.

“Scholarship bursaries of up to 100% were available although many applicants are offering to contribute some of the costs themselves or via their employers with matched funding being provided by the Trust. This enables our funding to go further with more applicants being supported.

“Since our inception, one of the core objectives of the Trust is the promotion of and support for those seeking to obtain Propertymark qualifications and educational grants for those unable to meet the financial cost of obtaining qualifications. [This has] always been at the heart of the Trust’s activities and remain available.”
