Hello Neighbour has launched a new platform aimed at landlords who want to list directly without using a lettings agent.

It allows landlords to advertise directly on major property portals such as Rightmove for as little as £29 and gives users control over listings details and viewings.

The service – open across England – has been tested with some 4,500 properties and 10,000 monthly viewing enquiries managed through the system.

For an additional £40 on top of the £29 basic, landlords can buy deposit protection, a tenancy agreement and compliance checks.

Landlords can communicate directly with prospective tenants on the platform and track progress in real time. The service claims to keep landlords fully compliant with upcoming Renters Rights legislation.

Additional services can include references, inventory, photos and floor plans.

Richard Jenkins, chief executive of Hello Neighbour, says: “We built this platform by listening to landlords and shaping every feature around how they let and manage property, so it puts them in control and keeps the process clear from first enquiry to move in.

“The platform cuts hassle not corners, by bringing everything into one place where you can advertise on the major portals, manage viewings and conversations with prospective tenants and track progress in real time whether you run the journey yourself or with our team’s support”
