A property with an interior designed by 007 author Ian Fleming is going on to the London rental market at a cool £25,000 per week.

Lettings agency Beauchamp Estates says this equates to £108,333.33 per calendar month or £1.3m a year.

The property – Twenty Grosvenor Square in Mayfair – was the headquarters of General Dwight D. Eisenhower during World War II, with Fleming the interior designer.

It has more recently undergone a £250m revamp by developer Finchatton, and since its transformation in 2021 it has been a 5,750 sq.ft. triplex residence, predictably branded as 0.07, with additional Bond-inspired interiors.

Standout features include a dining space ceiling height of 3.7m (11.8 ft), four huge sash windows overlooking Grosvenor Square, a white marble fireplace and staircase, a monochrome marble en suite for the master bedroom, a handcrafted pool table and fully equipped marble-topped bar area – Bond’s Vesper Martini glasses and cocktail shaker provided, of course.

Jeremy Gee, managing director of Beauchamp Estates, says: “History and luxury meet at this spectacular 5,750 sq.ft. triplex residence at Twenty Grosvenor Square, the former HQ of U.S. General Dwight D. Eisenhower, which is known as 0.07, in homage to James Bond author Ian Fleming, who visited the building as a naval intelligence officer reporting to Eisenhower. Now available to let, its immaculately dressed living spaces are ready to welcome their next resident.”
