Franchise giant unveils new PropTech management platform

SafeDeposits Scotland has revealed its first API integration, joining forces with the country’s largest property CRM provider SME Professional.

The people behind the integration claim it will help save Scottish letting agents significant time, reduce operational expenditure and improve compliance.

This new collaboration marks another step in what SafeDeposits describes as its “mission to simplify deposit protection for agents” by embedding it into the systems they already use every day. By connecting the deposit protection capabilities of the SafeDeposits Scotland API with SME Professional’s platform, it’s claimed that letting agents can now enjoy “a seamless, efficient deposit registration process as part of their regular workflow, saving time and cutting out unnecessary admin.”

Fraser Sutherland, SME Professional Managing Director, says: “At SME Professional, our core mission is to simplify property management through smart, efficient software solutions. Our integration with SafeDeposits Scotland is a perfect example of this.

“We’re proud to work closely with SafeDeposits Scotland to bring to our users a more streamlined, joined-up experience with a secure and trusted deposit scheme that is approved by the Scottish Government and used by the majority of letting agents in Scotland.”

Frankie Bishop, Client Relations Manager at SafeDeposits Scotland, adds: “Our first API integration is a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to maintain and build upon an unrivalled customer experience, and we are delighted that our API journey begins right here in Scotland with SME Professional.

“This integration will enable letting agents to submit deposit information to SafeDeposits Scotland directly from within the SME Professional platform, making life easier for them and allowing them to stay focused on delivering excellent service to landlords and tenants.”
