Homes for Students’ properties have been named the best student accommodation in 10 cities across the UK.

Ands in a further 19 properties the brand has come in third and second place in the 2025 StudentCrowd Student Voice Awards.

Each winning property performed consistently well across the areas students care most about – value for money, location, property management, cleaning, social spaces, social experience and Internet/WiFi.

Kate Forester, managing director at Homes for Students, says: “We’re pleased to see that we have so many number one properties across the country on this year’s list and we’re proud of our teams throughout the UK working hard in all the properties we manage to create the best ‘home away from home’ for residents.”

To compile this year’s rankings, StudentCrowd analysed 22,179 verified student reviews submitted over the past 12 months. Each review came from a UK university student using an accredited email address.

Paul Humphreys, chief executive of StudentCrowd, adds: “Accommodation plays a huge role in a student’s experience at university – it affects everything from wellbeing to academic success. These awards reflect the voices of tens of thousands of students and shine a light on the properties that understand what matters most. The best providers do more than deliver a place to live, they put students at the heart of what they do, and that’s exactly what sets this year’s winners apart.”

Homes for Students came first for its accommodation in Derby, Plymouth, Reading, South East London, Birmingham, Coventry, Dundee, Edinburgh, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Preston.
