Hundreds of millions in commission delivered to agents by TVPN

A utility management and billing service for letting agents is extending its enhanced commission rate.

The Notify platform operated by the One Utility Bill company will now continue to offer agents up to £17.50 per completed let until March 31 this year.

This extends the period of the increased rate first introduced in 2024 and, it says, helps agents prepare for the Renters Rights Act.

Notify operates in the background of the move-in process, handling tenant utility registration on behalf of agents.

The service is free to use, with no setup fees or subscriptions, and generates commission by allowing Notify to contact and support tenants at move-in.

The company says agencies completing around 20 lets a month, could generate over £1,000 in commission before the end of March, with no extra work.

Additionally, One Utility Bill estimates agents can save up to 53 hours of admin each month.

This is by removing the need for supplier calls, follow-ups and utility-related queries during the move-in process.

“This extension is our way of saying thank you” says One Utility Bill’s Shay Jones, director of growth and sales.

Over the past year the Notify platform has announced CRM integrations, quicker access to live support, and enhanced support teams.
