The investment management arm of lettings giant Lomond Group has appointed a new managing director.

Hannah Farmer now heads Lomond Investment Management, the group’s specialist division responsible for overseeing and optimising residential rental assets and supporting its institutional client base.

Farmer has held multiple senior leadership roles including CBRE Global Workspace Solutions where she was responsible for complex property portfolios and delivering integrated private and public sector facilities management services across the UK.

This is the team responsible for the leasing and management of portfolios including single-family housing (SFH), Build To Rent, Receivership and distressed assets and well as developments and private portfolios

In the past two years it has doubled in size, with teams based in London, Manchester and Exeter.

Farmer says: “The investment management division has built an impressive platform with huge potential for continued innovation and expansion.

“I look forward to working with the talented teams across the country to deliver outstanding results for our clients and to help shape the future of residential asset management.”

And Lomond chief executive Ed Phillips adds: “This is an exciting, pivotal moment for Lomond Investment Management and Hannah’s experience and energy make her the ideal person to guide the team through its next phase of growth.”
