New product offers agents six weeks cover across all tenancies

The Guild of Property Professionals has entered a partnership with HomeLet and Let Alliance.

It says what it calls “the new Guild Lettings+ proposition” has been developed to help agents answer a critical question facing landlords today.

That is, how can rental income and property assets be protected in an increasingly regulated and uncertain market?

The organisation claims that Guild Lettings+ enables agents to grow income per tenancy through protection-led services that align with landlord needs.

By embedding rent guarantee and enhanced referencing into their core offering, agents can:

  • Increase revenue through protection products and tenant services
  • Improve landlord retention by offering greater security and peace of mind
  • Differentiate their proposition in a more competitive market
  • Strengthen margins through preferential commercial terms negotiated by The Guild

Iain McKenzie, chief executive of The Guild of Property Professionals, says: “Landlords are entering a period of significant change, and agents have a vital role in helping them manage risk and protect income.

“ … In a market shaped by the Renters’ Rights Act, agents who can provide certainty, compliance and reassurance will be best positioned for long-term growth.”

Mike Dawson, Head of Sales for HomeLet and Let Alliance adds: “Letting agents are operating in a more challenging environment than ever, and our role is to help them protect and grow their businesses.”
