Demand for ‘Autumn Housing Plan’ to help private rental sector

Agents are being invited to a council’s information meeting about the Renters Rights Act and other changes to the private rental sector.

Bolsover council in Derbyshire says the teach-in – to be held on April 14 at 10am in Chesterfield – will cover:

  • Renters Rights Acts 2025 – Implementation of changes
  • An introduction to DASH and Call Before You Serve (CB4YS) – covering the support available to local landlords and how to become accredited
  • East Midlands Property Owners (a not for profit landlord association) – 
  • Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) Regulations, what’s required under the new legislation, expected property standards and grants available
