Staff at a lettings agency had to call police after activists demanded £30,000 compensation for a former tenant.
Local media in the Aberdeen area report that activists in the Living Rent group entered the Aberdeen Northwood branch.
The group demanded compensation for a former tenant living in a home allegedly suffering a leak and damp which was untreated for almost two years.
The tenant lived in a three-bedroom property which she previously leased by Northwood Lettings alongside her daughter and grandchild.
The issue first began in December 2023, caused by a severe leak in the ceilings during heavy rain.
As of January 2026, there was allegedly still mould and freshly plastered walls were yet to be painted.
Living Rent claims that agency staff refused to engage with the activists before subsequently phoning the police.
Once police were called, protesters left the building of their own accord.
