New cyber-security warning as letting agents are “prime targets”

PropTech developer, Street.co.uk has launched a new platform that enables agents to build and deploy their own tailor-made AI workforce.

The launch came hot on the heels of Reapit’s AI announcement last week, ahead of Alto’s new AI demo tomorrow which, in turn, will be followed by the unveiling of Rex Software’s AI product development on May 6.

PropTech suppliers, it seems, are queuing up to bring the latest technology to market.

Street said their latest product, Cortex, would fundamentally change how agencies operate, scale, and structure their teams and claimed it was set to mark ‘a clear before and after moment’ for the sector.’

Co-founder, Tom Staff, said the firm understood that this level of change came with ‘significant implications for the industry, particularly when it comes to how teams are built and the roles that exist within them.’

Cortex has been developed over the last six months and sits above Street’s existing CRM and marketing ecosystem.

The company claims it allows agency staff to create, run and orchestrate AI agents capable of executing real work across the full spectrum of workflows, from handling enquiries and client communication through to marketing, sales progression and property management tasks.

Co-founder, Tom Staff, said: “Cortex isn’t an add-on…it’s a completely new way of running an agency.

“It allows agents to create and deploy AI that actually does the work, not just assists with it, and that has a direct impact on how agencies are structured and how they scale. So, for example, Cortex won’t just help you form an appropriate response to a client email, it will receive, write and reply to it. And that’s really just its baseline capabilities – the possibilities are literally endless. “We understand that this level of change comes with significant implications for the industry, particularly when it comes to how teams are built and the roles that exist within them. But ultimately, this technology is about enabling agents to spend more time doing the things that truly require a human touch, building relationships, advising clients and delivering better outcomes.”
