Lettings agents amongst the big winners at ESTAS 2022

ESTAS are crowning postcode champions this afternoon in a special ceremony.

At 4pm the ESTAS Best in Postcode Awards go live, revealing the highest-rated estate agents, letting agents, conveyancers and mortgage brokers in postcodes across the country.

The results do not come from a judging panel and there is no shortlisting by industry figures, nor peer nominations.

Instead every winner is decided entirely by verified client reviews gathered over the past 12 months.

And at 4pm today, the results go public.

Every postcode can get a winner – but only one winner, who receives the title: Best in Postcode.

Phil Spencer, TV property expert and host of the awards, says:This is the award you can’t engineer. You can’t hire your way to it or market your way to it.

“It’s given by clients, based on what they actually experienced. That’s what makes Best in Postcode worth watching, and worth winning.”

Simon Brown, founder of ESTAS, adds:

“Every year this day delivers surprises. Smaller independents outperforming well-resourced corporates.

“First-time winners claiming postcodes no one expected them to own. The data doesn’t care about size or marketing budget — it cares about service.”

“If you’re in property and you haven’t thought about your postcode reputation yet, today is a very good day to start.”

All winners are automatically shortlisted for county, regional and national titles at the ESTAS Awards in October, where more than 1,000 professionals from across the sector come together.

The ESTAS Best in Postcode Awards are announced live on YouTube at 4pm today, Friday 1 May.
