PropTech firm Alto has launched an AI-powered compliance tool that automates certificate renewals for letting agents.

The service, called AutoCertt, runs inside Alto and detects soon-to-expire certificates, coordinates with landlords, tenants and suppliers, validates documentation, raises charges and updates records.

It claims that it contributes towards saving a letting agent managing hundreds of properties, somer 70 hours of work per branch annually. 

“Compliance doesn’t generate revenue. But it carries enormous risk when it goes wrong” says Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson, chief executive of Alto.

“AutoCert is how we remove that risk entirely. Not by reminding your team to act, but by acting itself. The renewal workflow runs and the records update. The certificates land in Alto. Your team oversees it, but they don’t have to manage every aspect of a certificate renewal anymore.”
