Zoopla is linking with an online community marketplace, Airtasker, to make moving home easier.

Users can now access Airtasker directly through the Zoopla website and app, giving them an easy way to book trusted local help for the practical tasks that come with moving home.

From removals and end-of-tenancy cleaning to furniture assembly and heavy lifting, Airtasker helps take the stress out of moving by connecting people with skilled Taskers.

Tim Fung, chief executive of Airtasker, comments: This partnership is about taking some of that pressure away by making it easier to find trusted local help for the jobs that can often slow a move down.

“Whether it’s preparing a home for sale, moving heavy furniture or getting settled into a new place, we’re helping people spend less time worrying about their to-do list and more time enjoying their new home.”

And Zoopla’s chief operating officer, Rich Hayes, adds:We’re committed to supporting our users at every stage of their move. Partnering with Airtasker gives consumers direct access to a reliable marketplace for task services, with special rates for Zoopla users.

The 12-month agreement also includes multi-channel marketing campaign.
