Property maintenance platform Lettie has launched a new two-way integration with CRM Apex27, enabling agencies to automate maintenance activity within their existing CRM.

Tenants can report maintenance issues through WhatsApp 24 hours a day, with Lettie handling the initial conversation, gathering the information and evidence needed to understand the problem and triaging the issue before it reaches the property management team.

Where agency involvement is required, the repair request is passed back into Apex27, reducing the need for property managers to re-enter information or piece together details from separate messages, emails and phone calls.

The launch builds on Lettie’s existing integrations with Street and Arthur, as the company continues to expand the number of agency CRM systems its maintenance platform connects with.

A Lettie spokesperson says: “For AI to be genuinely useful to letting agents, it has to fit into the way their teams already work. Property managers shouldn’t need another inbox to monitor or another system where information has to be re-entered.

“Our approach is to meet tenants in WhatsApp, handle as much of the initial maintenance workload as possible there, and then make sure everything the property manager needs appears back in the CRM they already use.

“Adding Apex27 alongside Street and Arthur is another important step towards making that experience available to agencies regardless of which CRM sits at the centre of their business.”
