Only £2 per week.....bargain! So, £16 MILLION into the council housing budget to help cover its inability to perform its obligations under Part 1 of the housing act! All at the expense of the 95% responsible landlords whilst the rogues and criminals sit there laughing at the entire market. Perhaps a national private rented sector tax would be easier to swallow.

We see this a lot and rightly so she is before the bench.....who from Corrillian will go before the bench for the 1 billion pound pension theft?

How perfect, Newham have found a propaganda rich fix all for everyone just ahead of government approval……I presume the analysis didn’t come with full property management and rent guarantee on the council & HMRC s part and all the assessments were based upon declared rental incomes on applications and not actual rental incomes. I wonder what the total rent arrears and rent shortfalls for Newhams private sector adds up to……not withstanding I’m sure there are of course tax dodgers in there somewhere but no way is this figure almost half.
