The Governments position is unlikely to change on this, so its important for Landlords to plan ahead. The earliest EPCs are coming up to their 10 year renewal. Landlords with E rated EPCs are unlikely to attain the same rating again as changes to the EPC software (RdSAP) has made EPCs significantly more accurate but as a consequence new ratings are generally lower. An EPC produced in 2008 at level E could easily now be F unless the Landlord has undertaken improvement works. We work with Landlords , both corporate and private across the UK. We have been advising them since the legislation was proposed to plan ahead. www.agentgreen.co.uk
